‘We Love Inglewood’

Beaufort St / Eighth St, Inglewood WA
- July 2020

Commissioned by the Inglewood on Beaufort community group, this temporary piece brought some vibrancy to the Woolworths construction site on Beaufort St for that final half or 2020.

At over 60m long the piece featured Inglewood on Beaufort's iconic purple with a selection of yellow florals local to the Inglewood area. Along with banksia pattern-work referencing the banksia woodland that remains in the nearby Inglewood Triangle.

Over 150 members of the community came along on Sunday, July 5th for a big community painting party to help kickstart the install.

The hoarding artwork remains with the Inglewood on Beaufort team and will continue to be used for advertising, smaller activation throughout the neighbourhood, and possible future hoardings along Beaufort Street.

This project was funded by Woolworths, Inglewood on Beaufort and the City of Stirling. Special thanks to Broad Construction for help facilitating our use of the hoarding and hosting me during install.
