Let’s make some art.

Public Art

Murals and installations of any size or shape, in any space. Private, commercial, indoor, outdoor, educational or just an added aesthetic feature. I can research, design and install a floral masterpiece to suit.

Design & Illustration

Having trained originally as a designer, I can still offer limited design and illustration services, provided your project is a good fit for me (and that my style is a good fit for you!)

Do you need some artwork for band merch or some illustrative branding and promotional material for your business/ event? Let’s chat!

Do you need just a basic logo or maybe a website? You’ll probably find a dedicated graphic or web designer will be better suited to your needs and budget.

Three black and white prints of native flowers.

Prints & Paintings

Screen prints, lino prints and paintings on canvas or board. You’ll find a selection of these studio works in my SHOP, which are available for purchase as originals or fine art reproduction giclée prints.

Looking for something specific to give as a gift or to match your decor? I offer a limited number of commissions for studio pieces.

Community

Custom workshops and large scale murals that engage the community. Bush walks, nature collage, mono-printing with a pasta machine, community painting days. There’s so many interesting and meaningful ways you can involve the general public, local school or a specific community group in your next public art project or event.

Getting Started

How do I commission an artwork?

If you have artwork or a project in mind, the best place to start is a conversation. Flick me an email with some details or we can line up a meeting. Basically, you’ll give me as much info as possible about what you’re looking for and I’ll let you know what I can offer you to make it happen. We’ll bounce some ideas off each other. I’ll send you a quote. We may need to problem solve a few details here and there. It’s very collaborative.

This applies to murals, community projects, studio works, illustrations and everything in between!

Who can commission a mural?

Anyone! So long as you own the wall or have permission to paint on it, you can commission a mural. You can be a private home-owner, a school, a business, a community group, etc.

What if I don’t know what I want?

No problem. I can come up with something for you. Just make sure you’ve seen some of my previous work, and are confident that my style is a good fit for you. I can make some recommendations for your space and we can always do some brainstorming together.

I don’t live in Perth. Can I still commission a mural or community project?

Absolutely. I love travelling to new places to make art. There are some additional fees involved to cover travel and accommodation costs (unless there’s a special arrangement where you can offer these yourself) but it’s 100% doable.

Please note: due to the outbreak of COVID19 across the globe, my ability to travel interstate will be subject to State border restrictions, and international travel will have to be put on hold until the Australian Government deems it safe to resume transit in and out of your country/ region.

How much money do I need?

Unfortunately, there’s no simple answer. All my work is bespoke - so my prices are too. Costs depend on the type of work, size, surface, complexity, whether there are community workshops involved, and any travel required. It’s also important to remember prices will include the work you don't ‘see’ on the wall or canvas. Insurances, hours spent on research, planning and meetings. Design development and revisions. It’s actually not too different from other professionals you might contract for custom work - like a cabinet maker, architect, photographer, etc.

How can I get a quote?

Use the submission form at the top, or send me an email directly. We’ll need to line up a meeting or you’ll need to send me the details of your project in writing. What are you after? How big is it? What’s the surface like? How long do you have to complete the project? Does it require community engagement? Do you need more than one concept to choose from? Give me as much info as you can, and I’ll ask if there’s anything else I need to know. After that, I can draw up an itemised cost estimate - or I can quote on a few options if you’re working with a specific budget. Please let me know if that is the case.

Use one of the options below for a list of things you may like to consider:

I work for a non-profit/ community group/ school and we don’t have much funding. How can we make our project happen?

Don’t worry - there are always options. There could be an upcoming grant to suit your project that we can apply for together. Perhaps fundraising is an option? We could run workshops as ticketed events. Otherwise, there’s always adjustments we can make to the project scope to accommodate your budget. If you’re flexible, I can be too.

Just let me know what your budget is when you get in touch, and we’ll work around it.

I don’t want flowers. Can you paint something else?

The short answer is no, sorry.

As an artist; plants and flowers are what you might describe as my ‘speciality’ and plants are a really important part of my artistic practice.

I’m happy to incorporate some other ideas and subject matter with flowers, but there needs to be a balance between your ideas and mine in any artwork I make.

For example, I probably won’t paint a sports car or a realistic beach landscape, as such. It’s worth finding an artist who already makes work that suits what you’re looking for.
